#700 – Base Leg Stabilizer
- The Base Leg Stabilizer elevates the knees so the patellas require less of an angle. The patient does not need to be moved to the far edge of the table top in order to accommodate the positioning of the central ray.
- Some older patient's feet slide and need to be stabilized. The Base Leg Stabilizer provides this stability.
- When the patient holds the receptor it is closer to the femurs and reduces the need for the patient to extend their arms thus providing a firm hold and less likely to move the receptor during the exposure.
